- Strategically build relationships – To win average people you provide compassion and care…To win winners you need a vision and strategy.
- Market a Challenging Vision – You gotta turn them on! You gotta give them a cause!
- Uniquely placing them in to your cause to “Maximize” their gifts and talents.
- GIVE THEM OWNERSHIP…let them fail…lead….make decisions….Quit micro-managing.
- Be a WINNER yourself! QUIT WHINING! Fix the Problems – Not the Blame!

Thanks for the reminder for us leaders. We are in the business of influencing those around us. While I’d like for all of those I influence to be ‘winners’ – I know sometimes the ‘whiners’ can override and discourage our role.
I’ve underestimated vision and strategy too many times. In fact, I’d take vision over strategy any day. Strategy is without purpose if a clear and compelling vision isn’t behind it.
My job as a ‘talent broker’ is to place people with gifts and abilities in such a way so that the WHOLE will be of more value than the individual parts. If I can demonstrate to followers they are contributing to the vision in a real way and are an important part of the strategy to make the vision a reality – they will rarely whine.

Great feedback. I like the ‘talent broker’ It’s been a long time….hope you are doing well and the ministry is thriving with all those ‘winners’. By the way, winners wanna follow winners!

that is true but what does this have to do with Jesus?! I mean you might have the talents and GOd Given Gifts to overcome setbacks, but please dont put such things as average people are not winners, cause they just need compassion. they are average. your words imply so many things, but i guess im just a loser because i speak through my hurt that makes me whine about life. I guess all that whining is really my fault. I should just be a pawn in a church so i can be a part of helping them grow, even if i know i have better talents, but so much shit stops me and distracts mne, so i should just be an average pawn watching as how my whining keeps me from whining.
i mean what in your right mind would make you judge people like that? hurting people are whiners just act caring speak nicely and caringly in a soft voice so you get the job done and don’t have to get involved with them and move on about YOUR LIFE because God cares for them anyway.
keep em quiet with a sense of fullfillment doing my work. that should do it……….(for me)…. what?!

all im saying is thats a wrong place to put info if people who are hurting will se it. why dont you just make a site where the winners can see this info that average people who just need compassion wont understand? YOu see even a whiner is intelligent they just have emotional instability in their lives. even a fool on the streets knows that. what sin are you hiding?? and yes i probably just saw the speck in your eye without noticing the plank in mine. thats not the poit though.
