Are You STRUGGLING?
March 3, 2010 at 6:11 pm | Posted in Uncategorized | 2 CommentsIF you are stuggling….that seems a bit funny to me. Most people I meet and are willing to engage in serious conversation ARE struggling. So often this struggle is from Abuse. Abuse of sin, or even abuse from a ‘friend or brother’. IF this is you take heart…..Read 2 Peter 2…I won’t tell you what it says, cuz I want you to read it! I will give you the end result! I love it! It is a picture of HOPE for you in the midst of your ‘struggle.’ Press on my friends….God is in control!
2 Peter 2: 1—9 if this is so, then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials and to hold the unrighteous for punishment on the day of judgment.

Thanks, Dan! I appreciate your post. I am one of those who is currently struggling. You are so right about 2 Peter. I have been doing some pre-study of this book becuase I am preaching through it upcoming in May and June. Yesterday my struggle itensified greatly and I came into the office this morning prior to a breakfast meeting wondering what to focus as a result of this struggle as it clearly has me preoccupied. Your post gave me the anwer – focus on the book I’ve been doing the pre-study in – 2 Peter.

I praise God of the letter of Second Peter indeed the scriptures that you have posted here are for us to commit to memory as they are encouraging when we are struggling. I say we must cling to the cross where the greatest of all sufferers suffered to the point of success!
